Ferrite Disc Magnet also known as a ceramic magnet, is a type of permanent magnet made from a composite material called ferrite. Ferrite magnets are composed of iron oxide (Fe2O3) and barium carbonate (BaCO3) or strontium carbonate (SrCO3). They are characterized by their low cost, high coercivity (resistance to demagnetization), and excellent corrosion resistance. Ferrite disc magnets have a disc or cylindrical shape, with a flat circular face and a hole in the center for mounting or attaching to other objects.
